I had another revision surgery this time! But does AS count as revision surgery too..? I deleted the previous post because I was worried after I had only told a few people by initials in the comments after thinking about it when everyone was asking which clinic it was! To summarize my first surgery + AS story:
1) First surgery
Even though I said I did not want a high nose, they used 4.7 mm silicone, and I ended up looking like Pinocchio + masculine + transgender-like (I think this director's style is originally only straight or semi-straight lines. I was too young then, so I did not even think about legwork or online research, and just went to a clinic acquaintances had used and booked right away I did not even look up reviews,,)
Anyway, the nose was too high, the silicone was shifted to the left, and maybe because of that shifted silicone, my nostrils became asymmetrical (the left nostril looked much narrower)
2) First AS
I told them my nose was too high, it was not even semi-straight but a straight nose so it looked transgender-like, and the silicone was shifted to the left. They said they would lower the silicone during AS too (they did the AS for free)
But the funny thing is, after I had AS and took off the splint, the silicone looked curved in a C shape. It was my anxiety period, so I thought it must be because of swelling, but after 6 months I went back and asked, and after taking a CT, the silicone really was bent to the right,,
3) Second AS
Ha,, they said they would only correct the bent silicone (they did this for free too)
But after the surgery, what they said was that when they actually opened it, the silicone was only slightly bent, and it looked worse because there was a lot of scar tissue (in my opinion, I think scar tissue filled in the area that had lifted as the silicone bent to the right,,)
Anyway, even after the second AS, I took off the splint and looked, and it was still the same,,^^ Right-side C shape,, This time too I thought it must be because of swelling, but it was bent again
4) Went back after 1 year to check
They said it was bent. They said, "That's strange, why did this bend again?"
From then on I saved a lot of money so I could get another revision surgery at another clinic
So I got it this time!!!!
I said I wanted to use silicone, but the director said that since I did not want a high, flashy nose, the height I wanted could be achieved sufficiently without an implant, so I had surgery without an implant
I am genuinely extremely satisfied
But what gave me chills is that I found out the reason my nose had been bent They said it bent because the inside of the silicone had been carved unevenly I feel so betrayed,,, After I found this community, I was searching the clinic where I had my first surgery and saw a post about proxy surgery Seeing how they gave free AS without any complaint, I honestly wonder if it really might have been proxy surgery
Oh, and after having nose surgery 4 times, what I felt is that there are many people who write posts after taking off the splint and before a month has passed, saying they think it failed and they are worried, during the anxiety period. I understand Please do not be too harsh on them,, I did it 4 times, and even though I had experienced it before, I still got mentally shaken. It really was because of swelling, but I worried something had gone wrong, contacted the clinic, searched this community, and looked for every case similar to mine For me, who has done it 4 times, I was like that all 4 times, so people having surgery for the first time must be really worried,,, Let's not be too harsh on them

This is something I am writing along with the clinic information in most comments, but even though my multiple revision surgery was successful, I know the clinic where I had my first surgery is also famous for first surgeries and revisions Everyone else may have good results, but there are also cases like mine where it goes wrong, so you should not just immediately book a clinic because other people say it went well!!! I can share information, but you need to look up reviews and carefully check whether the director is someone who creates the line you want well, and so on...!!! First of all, I hate flashy noses,, I really dislike pointed noses and straight noses, and I wanted a natural feel! The director for my final surgery pursues safety and naturalness, so it matched my needs really well, which is why I chose them. Anyway! Everyone needs to choose carefully...
