After my first surgery with an L-shaped silicone implant and ear cartilage, I lived without any particular problems. The area between my eyebrows started high and my nasal tip was blunt, but it was better than my original nose, and it had been raised naturally enough that it did not obviously look operated on, so I thought I should just live with it. But I heard that it is best to remove L-shaped implants, so I had surgery when I had time. They placed silicone on the nasal dorsum and used septal cartilage and ear cartilage to raise the nasal tip. It is only day 3, so there is still a long way to go, but so far the swelling and bruising are not severe.
