I was concerned because my nasal bridge was low and my nostril base was also wide,
but more than that, my rhinitis was so severe that I always lived
with Otrivin ㅠ^ㅠ But because I used Otrivin too often,
my mucous membrane got completely irritated, so I went to a nearby specialty ENT clinic
and had a consultation. They said the cause of my rhinitis was a deviated nasal septum,
and because the mucous membranes were touching, my rhinitis had gotten worse ㅠ_ㅠ
So even though it was an ENT clinic, I asked whether they could also do nasal bridge and nostril base surgery,
and they said that with rhinoplasty, the functional aspect is more important
than the cosmetic aspect, so it is better to have it done at an ENT clinic.
After consulting with the counselor, I decided to have nostril base reduction, nasal bridge surgery, and septoplasty/rhinitis surgery
done together. On the day of surgery, I went early,
waited a little, and entered the operating room. I tried to hold out and not go under anesthesia,
so I counted 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and then the surgery was over lolololololol
If I said it didn’t hurt, that would be a total lie... I had never experienced pain like that in my life.
I got painkillers, called a Kakao taxi, and came home, but I didn’t know the cotton packing in my nose
would feel this suffocating.. I took painkillers and fell asleep at night, and the next day,
when I said I was going to get the packing removed, my close friend seemed completely amazed that hemostatic packing could be removed after just one day,
so I went with that friend and got the packing removed. It has only been a few days, so there is still
a little swelling left, but I can clearly see that my nasal bridge is higher and my nostril base is smaller.
The director is not overly friendly or anything, but explains things well.
The counselors and staff treat you very warmly.
While consulting about nasal bridge and nostril base cosmetic surgery, they were so kind that I almost ended up getting life counseling..
Ah!! Maybe because of the septoplasty/rhinitis surgery, I really lived for a few days with my nose completely opened and clear,
and it genuinely feels like my life has changed. For those with a deviated septum and rhinitis,
I seriously highly recommend it.
