About 15 years ago, my mom found out about it somewhere and I had rhinoplasty together with her. My mom had it done 20 years ago. My memory is a bit hazy, but for something done that long ago, my mom's shape is still being maintained nicely, and my nose is pretty too. It doesn't look like chalk, there were no side effects or anything, and now it just looks natural and doesn't show unless I say something. I had it done with septal cartilage, so no contracture or anything like that happened. I can't make a pig nose, and the tip is hard. That's unavoidable with septal cartilage. My mom had it done with ear cartilage, so she doesn't have that issue.
I remember they probably did an osteotomy in the middle back then to adjust it, so the broad, flat bridge became more slender. My memory is faint. For that time, the surgery skill wasn't bad. But now, 15 years later, techniques at other famous Gangnam hospitals have advanced a lot, so relatively I'd give it 3 stars.
Anyway, from what I remember, the doctor had a very cool, straightforward personality, and I think because I was young then, he seemed kind. I'm writing this to fill out 3 reviews, and it's making me sink into memories and feelings for a bit. So much time has passed, and I wonder if the doctor is still doing well and healthy.
