They say you need to research carefully even for closed rhinoplasty, so I looked into mostly well-known places and visited them in person.
This was one of them, but honestly, it was the most expensive among the places I researched. T_T
Still, the reason I decided on surgery here was that they seemed to have extensive overall rhinoplasty experience, including both open and closed approaches. The reviews were decent, and they seemed to handle materials well overall, even autologous costal cartilage. T_T
I really dislike having the columella look cut away or having a short-nose appearance. This place had good reviews about improving those points even with a closed approach, and the overall design suited my taste, so I ultimately decided. T_T
Anyway, the residual swelling has not completely gone down yet, but the shape seems to have turned out fairly well, and the columella area has the look I wanted, so I am satisfied. The scar from the autologous rib cartilage has almost completely healed, so it bothers me less than I expected.
Even if closed rhinoplasty looks relatively simple, I think it is important to choose a place with extensive rhinoplasty experience that also considers the harmony of the entire nose.
