Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Review of nonsurgical correction for a protruding lower jaw

I have a congenital protruding lower jaw, but my parents said two-jaw surgery was absolutely not allowed, so I started nonsurgical orthodontic correction in 6th grade and finished in 9th grade. Now I’ve persuaded my parents and am going around for two-jaw surgery consultations, and the doctors all said it was surprising that my occlusion had been made normal when my jaw protrudes this much haha.. If you don’t want surgery, I recommend nonsurgical orthodontic correction. But I can definitely say that while this correction makes chewing more comfortable, it does not significantly change your face shape or make you prettier. My occlusion fits well, but I needed an external change, so I decided on two-jaw surgery. And I’m grateful to the director who aligned my bite well. If my jaw had protruded during my school years and my occlusion hadn’t fit either, it would have been truly unbearable..
