When I was young, I had a lot of concerns because of my protruding lower jaw, so I had orthodontic jaw correction and things like that. I knew going into orthodontic treatment that, because of my age, it could relapse later since it was already late to correct the jaw. It worked briefly with orthodontics, but around high school my jaw started protruding again, so after turning twenty I was just thinking I should get surgery someday. Now it’s already been a long time since the surgery. After the surgery, just getting through each day was really hard, and it took so, so long for even the minor swelling to go down, but I’m genuinely very satisfied. My image changed, my occlusion fits well, and daily life has become more comfortable!! Those considering double-jaw surgery must have a lot on their minds, but whichever hospital you choose, definitely have it done at a dental clinic..!!
