It’s currently been about a year and a half since my nose surgery
After all my entrance exams were over, my parents paid for my rhinoplasty as a kind of gift? They’re not the type to push plastic surgery, but noses on my mother’s side tend to be low, and since I inherited that nose, my mom said she wanted to get my nose done for me once I became an adult haha
There wasn’t anything uncomfortable; it was purely for cosmetic purposes!
But I wonder if anyone else had a case like mine
Looking back now, I think it was honestly kind of risky? I was a bit careless
Since they said they’d pay for it, I just went straight to a clinic where someone in my family had gotten a good nose result (I didn’t do any online research or go around for consultations) Even up until the day of surgery, I didn’t have a nose shape I wanted, and I really went in knowing nothing about nose surgery
So during the consultation, I only said something like I hoped my low + short nose (my nose was very short) could be improved, and then I went into surgery
Only after getting plastic surgery did I become really interested and start looking things up a lot, so now I finally understand a bit of what’s what..
I heard these days a lot of parents pay for double eyelid surgery or nose surgery as a graduation gift or just as a gift, but I hope no one here is like me ㅜㅜ
In the end, my nose turned out okay, but I keep feeling regret, like, “Ah, I should have done it this way” (To be honest, after a lot of time passes, I’ll probably get revision surgery someday haha)
It’s really obvious, but plastic surgery is something you do to your own face that you’ll carry for life, so please, please research carefully before going.. I hope you clearly know what you want (shape, line, etc.) before lying down on the operating table

+To briefly add a nose review, it definitely feels like it changes the details of the face..? Since my low nose became naturally higher, I look much more polished
