Incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + posterior/lower canthoplasty

Before <bare face before surgery> After <bare face 2 weeks after surgery> After <bare face at 1 month> Eyes that were the definition of flat monolids I had never been told my eyes were pretty, and because they looked sharp, my impression wasn’t very good. Maybe because of that, I had no confidence in my appearance and felt a bit intimidated about dressing up and things like that. I heard a lot that I looked fierce, and if I was just sitting still, people often asked if I was angry. It was probably because I had monolids and upturned, sharp outer corners.

There is still some scarring from the front canthoplasty, but they said it will gradually fade, so I’m waiting. Overall, the size of my eyes itself has gotten bigger and my image has become much gentler. My impression also seems much clearer. Even though I did it by incision, a lot of swelling went down by week 2, and for aftercare I just did light things like walking.

From now on, I’m going to start wearing makeup and dressing up, so I’m curious how different I’ll look. For now, I’ve gained enough confidence to go outside even bare-faced, and I’m no longer intimidated, so it has been a positive change. Also, my friends say I’ve gotten really pretty, so I feel so good. Before double eyelid surgery, my dad was strongly against it, but once the swelling went down, he said he thinks I did well.

Going forward, I should work hard on swelling care and apply scar ointment often.
