Before<Before surgery>After<After surgery>Reason I got double eyelid surgery : You can tell from the pre-op photos, but I hated the multiple creases, and I also hated that my upper eyelids were drooping and made me look sleepy.. I just hated my eyes themselves before surgery soooo much ㅜㅜ I was full of desire to have big! round eyes!! clear, defined eyes!!! lol
Clinics I visited for consultations : 6 places (including the one where I had surgery)
Reason I had the surgery by incision : According to the director, first of all, the skin on my upper eyelids was quite droopy + I had multiple creases + the strength with which I opened my eyes was uneven, so if I did natural adhesion, it would come undone quickly and it looked difficult for the line to settle prettily. Also, they said that if ptosis correction was done non-incisionally, I probably would not get a satisfying effect, so for both the double eyelid and eye-opening strength to settle well, incision would likely be better. This opinion was not only from the director who operated on me, but also came up at some of the places I went for consultations, so I decided on incision.
Reason I chose the clinic : When I went around for consultations, the consultants would often first say things like, “The director will probably recommend this surgery and that surgery~” But here, the consultant only asked whether I had ever had surgery before, whether I had any chronic illnesses or allergies, and what parts I wanted to fix, and I liked that everything was decided while consulting with the director. Also, originally I wanted to open all four directions with epicanthoplasty, upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty, but they said just a slight epicanthoplasty would be enough and that the rest might not be beneficial surgeries. That honesty seemed to help me rein in my greed a bit, so I was more drawn to them(?)
3-month review : First of all, I am so satisfied that I want to do 108 bows to the director who stopped me when I said I wanted to open all four directions during the consultation and made my current eyes! And when designing the line, it looked too thin, so I asked the director if they could make it just a bit thicker, but thank you for not doing it ^.^ I was really stressed for 2 years from being told I looked older because of the multiple creases and droopy eyes, but these days I feel compensated by the fun of looking at my eyesㅜㅜ
