I was so self-conscious that I wouldn’t go outside without double-eyelid tape, so I think I used it for over 4 years... On top of that, my eyes were the kind where a line seemed like it would form but then wouldn’t, so I hoped that maybe if I kept using double-eyelid tape for a long time, a miracle would happen and double eyelids would naturally form, but as expected, that was impossible lol... So I decided to go down the surgery route, searched online and went around for consultations like crazy, and since my eyes weren’t exactly small haha, I wanted the line to look as natural as possible. Among the options, I saw reviews saying Director Kang at On Air does natural-looking results well, so I decided! During the consultation, he didn’t particularly recommend canthoplasty, and said we should do an in-out line with ptosis correction and just remove a bit of fat. He didn’t force anything unnecessary for my eyes and seemed to practice conscientiously, so I trusted him and decided on surgery right away, bang bang bang. It’s now about 6 months since surgery, and I’m happy because I don’t have to go through the trouble of applying double-eyelid tape every morning, and with the ptosis correction, I can feel that my eye-opening strength has become solid too ㅠㅎㅎㅎ I regret not doing it sooner..
