I had nose surgery twice (at the same place) After the first nose surgery, the bridge suddenly became too high starting from above the glabella, and my nostrils became severely asymmetrical. While going around for revision surgery consultations, I went back to the hospital where I had the surgery, and maybe it looked serious to them too, because they did the revision surgery for me. But from right after the surgery, the implant (silicone) in the glabella area was not fixed in place, and when I shook it, it moved and shifted. I told them about this, but the doctor said it was okay and that there was no problem.
Recently my nose has been so blocked that I went to an ENT clinic, and they said that during the nose surgery something must have been touched incorrectly, so the inside of my nose had completely adhered with tissue They said they do not know whether reconstruction will be possible, but that I need to have reconstruction as soon as possible. And it also seems like slight contracture is starting.
I am looking into revision surgery again, and most places recommend costal cartilage. But I am worried because I heard costal cartilage is very stiff I am planning to go to more consultations, focusing on places that are good at revision surgery and functional surgery. Are there any hospitals you could recommend~?
Also, the director who operated on me at the previous hospital is no longer there, so I am not sure whether it would be better to go back there too... Since the surgery was over 10 years ago, would they say they are not responsible~?
