I finally thought it was the day to remove the splint, and I had been counting down to this day.. T_T I went to the clinic hoping I’d be able to breathe properly now. After the director removed the splint sutures and the foreign material inside my nose, my nose suddenly opened up completely and the world felt different...
It felt so good that I realized breathing through my nose could be this comfortable. After all the sutures inside my nose and the silicone plates were removed, I left the clinic, and the outside air felt incredibly clear.. I’ve never had a particularly sensitive sense of smell, but I could really feel, “Ah, so this is what outside smells like,” and went home.. haha
