Hi everyone! After my first surgery failed and I was stressed, I had revision rhinoplasty with a Sofit implant, bulbous-nose correction, crooked-nose correction, and autologous costal cartilage. I’m just past three months, so I’m leaving an honest review. I had the surgery at [Clinic A], and it has been a little over three months! I’ll share the story of my very successful revision
Everyone will understand immediately from the before photos why I had the revision... My bulbous nose had remained blunt because the first surgery was made too natural, and even the bridge, which I thought might have been somewhat high, drooped over time. The crooked appearance also remained, so every time I looked at it, all I could do was sigh, and I was extremely stressed
Because it was a revision, I was very picky and visited many clinics before choosing one. The director at [Clinic A] examined my nose and pinpointed exactly why the tip had drooped and the bulbous nose had not been corrected in the previous surgery. The solution was to create a clean bridge line with a customized Sofit implant suited to my facial bone structure, straighten the crooked area with osteotomy, and firmly support the tip with autologous costal cartilage to completely refine the bulbous nose. The explanation was factual, clear, and free of unnecessary upselling, so I trusted them and proceeded.
Personally, reviews matter, but I think the director’s explanation and aesthetic sense are the most important. Now that I’m three months out, seeing the major swelling gone and the line taking shape makes me feel so relieved. The drooping bridge has been lifted snugly with Sofit, and the stuffy bulbous nose and crooked-nose line have been refined into a clean, straight, sophisticated shape.
Since the support was firmly built with autologous costal cartilage, I feel most relieved that I no longer have to worry about it drooping again like before..
