When researching rhinoplasty, I think I looked at more photos of Go Youn-jung than of myself lol. Rather than an randomly high nose, I liked the look of a Go Youn-jung-style nose: a clearly defined line from the bridge to the tip without the nose standing out on the face. Of course, since our faces are different, asking for an identical result would be unreasonable. I just hoped my face could have that clean, defined atmosphere. I had my primary rhinoplasty with Director Hwang Se-hwi at ID, and I think the tip correction turned out well too. Surprisingly, the part I like most after surgery is the columella. Before, my tip was blunt and the lower shape was ambiguous, so my nose looked short and heavy. Once the columella and tip shape were defined, I felt closer to the look I wanted. Before surgery, I focused more on the overall impression than on how many millimeters to raise the height. Even now, instead of zooming in only on my nose, I usually look at full-face photos. I am happy that the overall impression seems to have become clean, like the Go Youn-jung nose photos I had saved. Since it was my first rhinoplasty, I was not sure whether I was explaining what I wanted properly and brought a pile of photos lol. In the end, I think the points I liked were reflected well. For a nose surgeon, someone with many years of experience really does seem better.
