Eye Surgery Reviews

One month after under-eye fat repositioning with septal fixation, after a lot of research and a lot of effort

When I was searching online and visiting clinics, it honestly felt like my head was going to explode, but after thinking and thinking, I finally decided and had the surgery. A full month has already passed, so I’m leaving a review for the recovery progress. I hope it helps even a little for everyone like me who fights with concealer every morning because of dark circles and under-eye puffiness! 1. Why I chose the clinic (visiting review) The clinics I visited were all fine, too. But the two things I ultimately cared about most were: • whether the director personally examined me carefully • whether septal fixation was included When I went in for the consultation at FI Plastic Surgery, there wasn’t that rushed factory-like atmosphere, so I felt a bit more at ease right away. The director personally pressed under my eyes and checked the amount of fat and the skin thickness. More than anything, they didn’t do unnecessary overdiagnosis or push extra treatments, and I had been wondering whether my eyes actually needed septal fixation. The director examined me carefully and confirmed that septal fixation was needed, so I immediately felt a lot of trust. But they also said it isn’t mandatory if your eyes don’t need it. Luckily, unlike many clinics that add extra charges, they did it without any additional fee. 2. Surgery day and 1-week progress On the day of surgery, honestly, I was a little scared, but once the anesthesia kicked in, I hardly felt any pain When everything was over, my under-eyes just felt a little heavy and numb. I went home safely on the subway alone without a guardian Since they said days 2 to 3 would be the peak swelling period, I diligently used cool packs for cold compresses. There was a little bruising and swelling, but it wasn’t very noticeable with glasses on, so there was no problem going to school and attending lectures! After about a week, the major swelling disappeared and I could see the under-eye line becoming more refined. 3. 1-month review and overall impression Now that it has been a month since my under-eye fat repositioning, the best thing is that my morning prep time for school has really been cut down I used to pile on concealer and pat on foundation every day to hide my dark circles, but now even a light cushion foundation makes the under-eye area look smooth, so the tired look has completely disappeared! Even in first-period classes, people say I look less tired My classmates around me also keep saying my face looks better and my expression looks much brighter these days, which makes me secretly really proud It definitely feels firm and well-set, probably because I had septal fixation done together when I had the under-eye fat repositioning! Everyone, don’t just look at the surface-level reviews, and when you consult, be sure to check: 1) whether the director examines you personally 2) whether septal fixation is necessary!
