Eye Surgery Reviews

I got Wonder Canthoplasty after thinking about a second outer canthoplasty

I had outer canthoplasty before, but the outer corner didn’t feel as open as I had expected. My outer eye corners were also slightly upturned, so this time, instead of making a vague adjustment, I decided on revision surgery because I wanted to open up the outer area as much as possible and also lower the eye corners. The main thing I emphasized during the consultation was that I wanted it as open as possible. They explained that rather than just lengthening the outer corner, lowering it while also looking at the direction of the eye corners would bring the eyes closer to the look I wanted, so I proceeded with Wonder Canthoplasty revision surgery. It’s still the day of surgery, so there’s swelling, but even right after the procedure I can already see that the tight feeling at the outer corner has lessened. In particular, the part where the eye corner had looked lifted is now lower, so my eyes look longer and more open, which I like as a first impression I was worried that since this was a revision surgery it might end up changing things in another ambiguous way, but I clearly explained the points I wanted and had surgery in that direction, so I’m satisfied. It’s still the same day, so it’s not the finished look yet, but this time the outer area definitely feels more open, so I’m looking forward to how it will look after the swelling goes down.
