Eye Surgery Reviews

After my first surgery, I ended up with sausage eyes, so I had an early revision eye surgery

Because of my sausage eyes, I ended up getting early revision eye surgery. About a month after my first double eyelid surgery, the line looked too thick and like sausage, and it stressed me out. I thought it would get better with time, but it seemed like it wasn't just a swelling issue. Even when my eyes were open, the double eyelid line looked way too thick, so my expression felt unnatural. It looked even worse in photos, so I kept worrying about it. In the end, at only about 1 to 2 months after surgery, I decided on an early revision surgery. I was really worried about whether it was okay to have revision surgery while still not fully recovered. Also, because it was an early revision, there were only a few hospitals good at it, so I looked into it a lot. Still, rather than keep waiting, I wanted to check my current condition accurately, so I got consultations at several places. During the consultations, I learned that it was important to check whether it was simply swelling or a problem with the existing line. I chose a place that explained in detail whether early revision surgery was possible after looking at my eyes. Please keep in mind that many people cannot undergo early revision surgery. / After the revision surgery, the line became clearly lower and more natural than before. At first, I was worried because the swelling made it look sausage-like again, but as the swelling went down over time, the difference became more and more noticeable. In particular, the thick, stuffy feeling when my eyes were open was greatly reduced. It still hasn't completely settled, so I need to keep watching the final result, but so far I'm satisfied. For anyone like me who worries about sausage eyes just 1 to 2 months after surgery, I think it's better to get a consultation first about what your current condition is rather than just waiting a long time.
