I had autologous costal cartilage shaped into particles to build the framework on my nose, and the tip was also raised with autologous costal cartilage.
I heard autologous costal cartilage can develop severe adhesions, so I’m really scared. While looking for a removal clinic, I saw such a pretty recovered result after the aftercare that I thought, I’ll have the removal done here~ But then I saw that the consultation review was the same, and that made me uneasy, so I passed on it.
Then I decided on a place after reading a scary comment saying that if you want to avoid disaster, you have to do it at one of the three major hospitals, but then I read another scary comment and ended up crying hard..
For now I’ve booked a consultation at one place because I’ve somewhat set my mind on it, but I’m still scared.
I clearly didn’t want to keep living with this nose from the past anymore, so I underwent cosmetic surgery accepting everything, but I never expected I would come to think about removal.
If inflammatory complications don’t happen, I thought I would live with it for the rest of my life. I don’t drink or smoke and have been living very carefully ..
I definitely couldn’t find removal posts before surgery, but now I keep seeing removal posts.
Still, it was nice to live with a pretty nose for even a short while.
Even so, I just hope the removal itself succeeds. If the removal goes well, I won’t be interested in surgery or procedures anymore.
