Nose Re-Surgery

Got my nose removed and even the splint off

My nose had a slight contracture from chronic inflammation, and as the columella was sticking to the inside, the tip was also slightly upturned. Of course, different clinics had different opinions on whether it was contracture or not, but since inflammatory reactions were frequent, it was a situation that needed to be dealt with. I went to about four clinics for consultations, and had surgery at one of them. Right now I’ve had the splint removed and am in the swelling-reducing phase! There was some blood pooling between my eyebrows, so I had it drained once as well. I was worried because the bruising and swelling were really severe, but the swelling seems to be slowly going down. Breathing is still a bit difficult The shape is lower than my natural nose because they shaved down the hump during the first surgery Even though I used a low silicone implant, I still feel a strong sense of loss. Still, it actually looks a bit like an upturned princess nose, so I think it suits my face well. The nose itself is still swollen, but it doesn’t feel upturned, and in fact the columella has come down, which I really like. Aside from being low, I actually like the shape itself more than my operated nose. I am worried about the contraction phase, but time will help, so I’ll have to wait. To everyone struggling because of their nose, please research well and get your nose surgery at a hospital that suits you!!!
