Nose Surgery Reviews

2-year review of alar reduction and septal extension (ear cartilage)

I have thick skin, collapsed cartilage, and a huge bulbous nose, so I was stressed out for my whole life, and I had this done together with double eyelid surgery in August 2024. I had a bridge, but the tip was low, so they built up the tip with my ear cartilage and trimmed the alar base. (Where did my nose go??) But from after the surgery until now, there's been a bad smell the whole time. I'm satisfied with the design.. though I do wonder if it's a bit too high, I'm satisfied. But from that tip area, by the afternoon there is a smell like sebum? or pus. It doesn't smell right after washing, only in the afternoon or evening. There is no heat, swelling, pain, redness, or anything like that at all. Is it an infection?.. But does it make sense for this to keep happening for two years? When I first went to the hospital and asked, they said it would gradually go away. They said the condition looked really good, but it has kept happening for two years now lol Please let it not be an infection lol Other than that.. in winter the inside of my nose gets cold, and sunglasses and glasses suit me well now. Satisfied~
