Siseon review

I have monolids with a typical diamond-shaped eye, so both the front and back corners were blocked.

My irises did not fully show, makeup did not make much of a difference, and wearing contacts made my eyes look even more cramped, which was my concern.

At first I thought that just doing posterior-inferior canthoplasty and double eyelids would be enough, so I first went to Siseon for a consultation.

But after taking photos and looking at my face on the monitor, I realized that would not be enough.

The doctor also said that if we only made a double eyelid line, it would not come out clearly, and that we should design from the front upper corner with upper canthoplasty to make the eyes look clearer, then open up the back lower corner with posterior-inferior canthoplasty so the eyes would not have that cramped, narrow look.

In the end, they said they would relieve the cramped feeling at the inner corners and also adjust the spacing and proportions so the area between the eyebrows would look wider.

They were very honest and even showed me what kind of eyes I would get if we did it that way.

The date I want is available, so I am at the stage of deciding whether to go ahead with surgery.
