I went for a consultation about a forehead lift. As soon as the forehead-lift surgeon saw me, he laughed and said that although I was still young, I had many forehead wrinkles. He said a forehead lift alone would not make my eyes as large as I wanted, and that I would also need double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction. I also consulted the doctor in charge of eye surgery. When I said I wanted natural-looking eyes and disliked sausage-like eyes, he said an in-out crease would not work and that the surgery should create an inner crease.
He also said my nose was very low, and that having epicanthoplasty first could make nasal surgery difficult, so he recommended having nasal surgery first and epicanthoplasty afterward. He gave me an overall sequence: forehead lift → double eyelids → nasal surgery → epicanthoplasty → facial contouring → lateral canthoplasty. I liked that he provided a witty consultation and seemed to favor a safety-oriented approach.
