This is a review one month and a bit after my nose revision + back/inner corner widening surgery at Lowell Plastic Surgery! I was born with a very low nose bridge. Since I was little, I basically had almost no bridge, just a tiny nasal tip. Then about 5-6 years ago I had surgery that only inserted an implant, and at first, because of the swelling, it looked fairly high so I wondered, is this okay? But as time passed, even with the implant, my nose still looked really low.
As for the back/inner corner widening, I had the non-incisional dissolvable-thread method. It wasn’t bad, but since I was going to do it anyway, I wanted to open it up more, so I thought I should get a revision while I was still young enough, and I went around consulting mainly at hospitals famous for revision surgery. Since I was coming and going from a province that takes over 4 hours one way, I had a lot of experiences just going to Seoul for consultations, but none of the places really suited me, so I kept worrying about which hospital to choose.
Then I saw a real-model video on YouTube with Director Kim Hyemin and the operating room nurse, and it was so impulsive, but I just called right away and booked same-day consultation + surgery with Director Kim Daehwa. When I first went to the hospital, the wait time wasn’t that long, and the OR nurses and coordinator nurses were all so pretty and kind that after seeing them so many times I even got attached to them;; The consultation with Coordinator Kim Hyemin was very thorough. Oh, and I was able to get the surgery at the same event price listed in the app. I was really nervous because it was same-day surgery, so I was grateful that they were so kind.
I had autologous rib cartilage + silicone, and after surgery, personally, the pain was beyond what I had imagined Maybe because I’m very dramatic about pain... My eyes, surprisingly, were fine except for bruising and swelling? I wore the abdominal binder for about 6 days. After a week, they removed the splint and stitches, and they also did aftercare (swelling laser, sebum removal). The doctor carefully checked everything until the end.
As soon as I left the hospital, I looked at my eyes and nose and was so satisfied. A lot of people around me were worried because I made the decision so impulsively, but the moment I sent them photos of my nose and eyes, I thought I was right to trust my instincts. Of course my nose was so underdeveloped that there must have been limits to what the doctor could do, but after hearing the explanation, it seemed like they did the maximum possible, so I’m very satisfied. I’m the type who thinks beauty is secondary and height is all that matters, but they even made it pretty. The nostrils were also matched well, and once the swelling went down, I really love the tip line They also made the eyes so that there isn’t much scarring. I like trying different eye makeup looks, and because the outer corner is opened more than before, I actually enjoy doing makeup now.
Oh, as a side note, after my nose surgery and outer corner widening, during recovery I also impulsively had lower-face muscle binding, fillers, hand injections, Potenza, and various other things done by Director Kim Daehwa only, and he did everything well. Good. Everyone around me says my jawline got slimmer and that the filler was done well too. It takes me 4.5 hours to get to the hospital, but I plan to take time off and keep getting fillers and procedures from Director Kim Daehwa only. Honestly, I don’t regret the time or money at all.
