I had the removal done 6 months after my first surgery, and it has now been 1 month since the removal. For the first surgery, donor rib cartilage, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage were used, and the costal cartilage support and septal extension were removed. The cartilage that was in the step on the bridge of my nose was left in place, and Megaderm was placed thinly on the tip. My nose was originally long and droopy, but after the removal, the tip point is higher than my original nose. But since it has only been 1 month, is that why it has not dropped much yet...? I am still not used to a nose tip that is higher than the original one... I wish it would drop a bit more from here. Usually after surgery, the alar cartilage can become weaker than before, so sagging can happen, but mine is higher than my original nose, so I am a little worried... I actually like a droopy nose, and a droopy nose suits me better And a droopy nose gives that original-feeling look, so I really want it Was it overcorrected in anticipation that it might droop? Have there been anyone like me who had removal, ended up with a tip higher than the original nose, and then saw it drop over time?? And since there is no support structure now, will the tip drop over time anyway...?? I heard some people said it noticeably dropped around 3-4 weeks. Is time the answer?! Thanks in advance to everyone giving advice!! Photos: left = original nose, right = 1 month after removal
