It’s been almost 10 years since it was removed. For a few years, I had a hard time because of mental health issues, and for a few more years I just lived thinking I’d have to accept it as it was. Then recently I saw a side-profile photo and was so shocked that I decided it was time to really try reconstruction surgery, and I’m now narrowing down a list of hospitals. My nose is close to the extreme end, and right now there’s no inflammatory reaction, but because of scar tissue contraction and retraction in the columella, the nose itself has become much shorter. So I’m thinking about columella reconstruction for a collapsed columella + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage, but I’m still worried about inflammation happening again, and because my nose has become such a sensitive issue, I’m also worried stress might make my mental health problems come back I’m looking into places like ㄷㄹ, ㅊㅁ, ㄷㄴ, ㅈㅅ, ㅎㄴㅂ, ㅇㅇ, ㅁㅇㄷ, ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ, ㄷㅌㅈ and planning to go for consultations, so if there are any hospitals to avoid or recommend, let’s share information together I also added photos of my nose!
