Because my nose looked artificial, I had it removed, leaving only the ear cartilage.... For about 2 weeks at first? It looks lifted because of the swelling, so you don't need to worry, and it does go back to looking like your original nose. But if there were post-surgery symmetry issues such as nostril asymmetry from the previous operation, then a simple full removal cannot restore that. If the operated nose was just unnaturally high, I think there is a high chance it will return close to the original nose after removal.
