My LASIK/LASEK review too (over 10 years later)

I had it done near Gangnam Station, and since it was in 2012, it's been 13 years. After the consultation, they put in drops that dilated my pupils, and I went home while dealing with glare. A few days later I walked straight back to the operating room. Lying there and looking at the red dot, the burning smell from them zapping my eyes was a bit scary and unpleasant, but I kept my gaze fixed on the red dot, and after a few minutes it was over and I went home. For 3 days it hurt a lot lol. Things within about 1 meter of me were hard to see. Around 2 weeks later I was almost healed, and my vision became really good, like when you're wearing contact lenses, and it was super comfortable. Avatar 1 was popular back then, and watching it comfortably with 3D glasses felt like a whole new world. But from here on I'll talk about the side effects. The glare is severe. Anything that emits light shines 3 or 4 times brighter, so even the LED on my keyboard bothers me. That did improve a bit after a few months, but even now if I drive at night, it's very uncomfortable unless I wear yellow sunglasses. And now in my early 40s, objects more than 2 meters away look a little blurry. Anyway, the conclusion after 10 years is: don't do it. Why would Lee Jae-yong wear glasses if he didn't have to?
