I had a same-day consultation and same-day surgery at the place my acquaintance had used. I did not shop around and just trusted my acquaintance and went ahead, and I was really satisfied. It may differ from person to person, but after surgery I only felt a burning sensation in my eyes for about 2 hours, and after that there were no issues at all other than a little blurriness, so I was able to return to normal life perfectly. Because it was SMILE LASIK, I even went swimming a week later. When I was told to stand up after the surgery and opened my eyes, it was blurry, but I could already see that my vision had improved. It felt similar to wearing contacts. My pupils are larger than average, so I still have some light glare, but honestly I am so satisfied with the improved vision that the glare does not bother me at all. I really think I made the right choice 100 percent!! My quality of life has changed!
