Hello. I saw that I could also leave a review for vision correction surgery, so I’m sharing my LASEK surgery review. I wore glasses since elementary school, and both eyes were around -5.0 by the pre-op test 기준. I didn’t realize my vision was that poor, but the clinic said it was extremely poor. I kept wondering whether to do LASIK or LASEK, but I heard too many bad stories and rumors, so I kept living with glasses and contact lenses..........These days everyone lies down and looks at their phone for an hour or two before sleeping, right? With glasses on, it was uncomfortable to look at my phone while lying down, and in the morning it was hard to find things because I couldn’t see well when I woke up,. So in my late 20s, I decided to get LASEK as a gift for myself. I decided on LASEK only, because I heard that with LASIK, if you bump your eye against something.. it can put stress on the cornea. I didn’t shop around much. From two clinics recommended by people who had already had LASEK, I booked the more convenient one and got surgery right after the pre-op examination. (That friend is very picky about her own body, so I just trusted her and went.) When you visit, they do the pre-op test together with the consent forms, and one of them is the Avedro DNA test => If an eye clinic does not do the Avedro test, definitely avoid it!! It is a test for corneal genetic disease, and apparently a very small number of people can have that disease genetically. If the genetic test shows you have that condition, they say you could end up in a situation where you cannot see for life (...) and the clinic will not proceed with surgery if they do not do that test. The other test results come out at the clinic that day, but the Avedro result is checked externally, so it took about a week. There are people who had surgery done properly but later developed eye problems. I think that may happen in cases where they only do about 5 to 10 tests and then operate immediately on the test day. After the pre-op test, you can book surgery depending on the result a week later, and the clinic website now shows 2.8 million won. I got a discount during an event and paid 1.8 million won. The staff were generally all kind, and the place was so popular that there were a lot of people;; I had no pain until day 3 after surgery, but from day 4 I experienced true hell. It hurt so much, like they were sanding down my eyes with sandpaper The pain peaked on days 4 to 5, and then gradually got better after that. (I think it varies from person to person. Most people said they were in pain from the day of surgery through day 3.) Large text far away became visible about a week after surgery, and close-up text and small text became visible only about a month after surgery. I went back for a vision test about 2 to 3 weeks later, and both eyes were 1.5. (I think it has dropped to around 1.0 now because I have neglected eye care.) During the pre-op exam, they also found an abnormality in the retina, so after LASEK they treated that area too. I got both vision correction and an eye exam at the same time, which was nice. I liked how they carefully handled even the small details, and I also liked that they said lifelong aftercare would be guaranteed. It is near Gangnam Station, so if you are thinking about vision correction surgery, I think it could be worth a visit!

It's already been 10 years since my LASIK! Back then I had the then-new Smile LASIK, and I only had tearing and stinging for 4 hours, then I got better right away. They say LASIK can sting for 4 days, so LASIK really is good. My eyesight…

Orthodontic Reviews@ortho-reviewJan 29 If you're going to do LASIK or LASEK, do it as early as possible, even by one year.
I like setting one goal for each year and doing it. In 2018, I successfully got my driver's license. In 2019, I escaped my 10-year life with contacts and had LASIK surgery. Back then I picked one factory-style clinic and one clinic with a…
