If you're going to do LASIK or LASEK, do it as early as possible, even by one year.

I like setting one goal for each year and doing it. In 2018, I successfully got my driver's license. In 2019, I escaped my 10-year life with contacts and had LASIK surgery. Back then I picked one factory-style clinic and one clinic with a real glowing review, then went to consultations at three places in one day because I intentionally wanted to use the same-day contract benefit, but it did not work out. The reason was that during the tests that day, they put anesthesia into the eyes, and because of that it was impossible to consult at several places. Please keep that in mind!! I had seen reviews saying there could be problems like infections or pus, so I purposely did not go in the summer. Around autumn, when it started getting colder, I began consultations at two-week intervals. After consulting at two places, I found that both were LASEK specialty clinics. My vision was not that bad, but I had severe astigmatism and anisometropia, so it was enough to correct just that. Rather than a LASEK specialty clinic, I chose a factory-style clinic, but it was extremely close to the station, used very advanced equipment, and the price was also the most reasonable. I do not mean cheap, but reasonable. After seeing me do it, my younger brother did it the very next week, two coworkers got it through my recommendation, and a friend did it too, and overall everyone was satisfied. If you have a recommendation from someone you know, definitely use it. For LASIK and LASEK, it really does seem like factory-style clinics have their place.
