Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

This is a review of my jaw surgery~!!^^

I had jaw surgery 20 years ago. It was so hard and painful back then. Six months after the surgery, because there was still swelling, I was satisfied, but once the swelling had completely gone down and more than a year had passed, I became very dissatisfied. Because recovery after surgery was so painful, I thought I would never have a second surgery and just lived like that. As time passed, my right jaw started dislocating often, and my face became twisted to the right. I tried many things. I was so concerned about the asymmetry that I went to a Korean medicine clinic for facial correction and acupuncture, tried fillers, and got many massages. Honestly, it was just a waste of money. It did not improve even 1%, and my stress about my face only kept growing. I was so afraid of surgery that I visited several orthodontic clinics, but they said my bite was aligned properly, so I did not need orthodontic treatment and that if I wanted improvement, I would have to have surgery. While considering reoperation, I searched YouTube for oral and maxillofacial surgery and watched videos by many directors. After watching videos by Director Yoon Gyu-sik at EverM Dental Clinic, I thought I absolutely had to have surgery with Director Yoon Gyu-sik. I thought he was incredibly skilled yet humble. It took more than 2 years from the moment I decided to have reoperation to the point when I finally went through the doors of EverM Dental Clinic. After meeting Director Yoon Gyu-sik, I decided that day to have the reoperation. On the day of surgery, when it was time to anesthetize me, the director came and said, 'You know, since you've had it done before, right? It'll be okay~' and reassured me while I was trembling. At last the surgery ended, and the pain began. It was hard.... My mind was completely blank... and my breathing was like... ha... ha... and then someone called my name. I had no strength, but I turned my head. Director Yoon Gyu-sik and the deputy director looked at me with the most pitiful eyes in the world, yet with very gentle expressions, and told me that the surgery had gone very well, so not to worry and just focus on recovery. Even now that scene is crystal clear in my memory. It felt like they understood how hard I was having it right then, and I received such great comfort. I was also very grateful to the nurses in the operating room for taking such good care of me. Because of the swelling, some days I looked fine, some days I looked cute, and some days I looked really ugly lol Three months after the surgery, I started exercising, and people who met me for the first time came up to me and talked to me, saying I was pretty, and many of them were women. Before the surgery, I was often told that I had a bad, cold impression and always looked angry. After the surgery, I felt so happy that people would naturally approach me, start talking first, and treat me more comfortably. The recovery process after surgery was very hard, but now every day is so happy. During recovery after surgery, the people close to me who saw how hard I was having it just kept saying the same thing over and over. 'Can you still not eat well? It’ll get better with time. Hang in there!!' When I visited EverM Dental Clinic at the 6-month mark, Director Yoon Gyu-sik was different as expected. 'Six months have already passed. Time really flies, doesn't it? You must have had such a hard time during that time, huh? ' Is there really a director who is not only this good at surgery but also understands patients' feelings this well?? Honestly, I was able to endure it because of the director's warm words on the day of surgery. Thanks to the director, I think I’ll be able to recover well all the way to the end. Thank you for performing the surgery safely and so well!!♡
