Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

A dentist said it was a double-jaw case at 4 clinics, so I had surgery: honest 5-month review, and why there was no blood bag

This is my self-paid review after double-jaw surgery with Director Shin Hee-jin at Iuguk Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery ~ Because of my malocclusion, I went to several places for orthodontic consultations, and all 4 said it was a surgery case, so I worried a lot. I also had ongoing stress about facial asymmetry, so I eventually decided on double-jaw surgery. I found the hospital because my regular dentist recommended it, and after looking at the reviews, it seemed natural without being excessive, so I thought it was good. Personally, the fact that they do not use a blood bag felt like a surprisingly big plus. It has been 5 months now, and based on my current standard, I only think I made the right choice. The first period was a bit hard because of swelling and food, but once that passed it definitely became easier. Now almost all the swelling is gone, so my facial line has settled naturally, and especially the side profile clearly looks different. I can open my mouth much wider too, so daily life is barely inconvenient, and as long as I am a little careful with hard foods, I can eat most things well haha. When I look at the pre-op photos, the difference is pretty big, so it is kind of amazing. Before, I used to worry a lot about angles when taking photos, but these days I feel less burdened even if I just take them casually, so I am satisfied overall. Functionally, I can feel that it is more comfortable, and my face shape feels neatly refined in a way that is almost too perfect, so personally I am very satisfied. If you are deliberation about contouring or double-jaw surgery, I recommend at least getting a consultation!
