1-year LASIK/PRK review

Since I have astigmatism and myopia, I was deciding what to get, and for astigmatism, in my case they recommended LASIK, PRK, then SMILE in that order. Personally, I felt LASIK was too unsettling because of the way the cornea is handled, so I decided on PRK. The surgery ended quickly, and I went home alone. Right after, I thought, is this all it is? But once I left the hospital and about 30 to 60 minutes passed, the anesthesia wore off, and from that point on it really drove me crazy. I could open my eyes if I wanted to, but for the first two days I was opening them and closing them, tears were streaming down, and it was so irritating that even sleeping was hard. From the third day onward, it became somewhat bearable? I stubbornly endured it because I heard that putting in painkillers is bad for recovery. One reason I chose PRK was also because I heard a second surgery would be possible later, but I probably won't get a second surgery even if presbyopia comes, haha. Anyway, after the recovery period, my early vision was around 0.6 to 0.7, and by 3 months both eyes had improved to 0.8. Still, because glasses usually correct me to 1.0, my viewing distance decreased a bit and I suffered for about a quarter. Right now both eyes are around 1.0, and I heard the correction at Suyonsei is kept relatively weak, but mine seems to have turned out as well as at other places.
