Lens implant for severe astigmatism

If I had to choose one of the best things I have ever done in my life, it would be getting lens implantation. It has only been a little over a year, so I do not really have anything to call a side effect yet, but being freed from glasses and vision-correction lenses has improved my quality of life so much. With severe astigmatism, even if I got vision-correction lenses made, they did not correct as well as glasses, and when I wore hard lenses I could see, but the foreign-body sensation was too strong and the correction was not really crisp, so I lived in glasses for a long time. Then while working, it got hard to keep relying on lenses, so I decided on surgery. I looked for places that were officially certified as reference doctors and were not factory-style clinics, and the first place I consulted left such a good impression that I immediately set a surgery date and left. Since it was my first surgery ever, I was really scared, but because I had my eyes open I felt the dryness more than expected and was a bit shocked. Since it was astigmatism correction, I waited in the recovery room for about 10 minutes, but because the axis shifted, I had to rest and then correct it again, so it took a long time. On the first day, I felt dryness, but aside from the inconvenience of not being able to wash, it did not hurt, so I was extremely satisfied, and it was amazing to see the world clearly without glasses. But sometimes the halo effect gets worse than expected. The halo was worst at movie theaters or near streetlights in alleys, and during the consultation they said the answer was to not pay too much attention to it, so I am kind of accepting that.. As for dry eye, I already spend all day looking at monitors, so I am used to it and have been diligently using artificial tears, and so far my vision is still holding at 1.2 and 1.5.
