It's been about two months since I started orthodontic treatment, and I went for my regular checkup today. Over the past month, I wore elastics for about 12 hours a day to adjust my bite, and since I mostly wore them while sleeping, it was not as uncomfortable as I expected. It felt a little awkward at first, but I got used to it quickly, and I felt proud as my bite seemed to keep getting adjusted. Today, they removed one side of the leg portion of the palatal expansion appliance, and it was fascinating to feel that the steps were progressing one by one. It was Saturday morning, so there were many patients, but they treated me quickly according to my appointment time, so I could go without waiting and comfortably. I am looking forward to what changes there will be at the next visit 😊 My front teeth are also slowly coming together.
