This is a review of my jaw correction at 6 to 7 months. This time I switched from the appliance I had been using to a new one. At first it felt a little strange, but after a few days I got used to it quickly. Compared with when I first started the correction, I can feel that my jaw has noticeably moved back, so the change in appearance is quite satisfying. Every time I look in the mirror, I can see that it is changing little by little, so I definitely feel the effect of the correction. However, the parts inside my mouth where the rubber bands and bow are pressing still hurt, so I am sometimes uncomfortable. It can be a little distracting when speaking in particular, but other than that, I have adjusted pretty well overall. I am looking forward to seeing how much more it will change over the remaining period.
