Five-month review: face proportions changed after double jaw surgery

Before the surgery, I was really stressed out by my protruding jaw and facial asymmetry. I had almost no confidence. Even from the front, my jaw looked like it was sticking out, and whenever I took photos I kept noticing that the center of my face looked slightly twisted. In particular, my jawline looked especially prominent from the side or at a 45-degree angle, so I was very stressed, and I desperately wanted my overall face shape to be naturally refined.After the double jaw surgery, the early period was a little hard for daily life because of swelling, pain, and eating. But as time passed, little by little, things got better. Until the 1- to 2-month mark, my face still felt dull and swollen, but around the 3-month mark I could feel my face shape settling much more naturally, and by the 4- to 5-month mark the major swelling had almost gone, so I thought, 'Ah, it's really starting to settle now.'My pronunciation was also a little awkward at first, which worried me, but now it's gotten comfortable enough that it hardly shows in everyday conversation. I can also eat almost anything now. I can eat mala tang and chicken, and eating feels easy again like before, so I'm really satisfied with that too haha.Externally, as my facial proportions have settled, my whole face feels much cleaner and more natural. Most of all, it doesn't look like I obviously had surgery, but rather like I naturally became prettier, so my satisfaction is even higher. People around me also say they wouldn't know I'd had surgery unless I told them, which makes me feel even more proud.I thought about it a lot before the surgery, but looking back now, I think I made the right choice doing it at this hospital. The early recovery process wasn't easy, but in the end, everything passed. I'm really satisfied and recovering well so far. I hope this helps even a little for anyone considering double jaw surgery :)
