Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Double jaw surgery really changes the front view

Before double jaw surgery, the front-facing photos were the most stressful part. My facial center looked slightly off, and my lower face seemed a bit heavy, so every time I took photos I would start by looking for angles. Even when I smiled, my mouth shape looked awkward, so I was even less confident in photos without an expression. So I went looking for a clinic that would also handle the functional side, and I ended up going to a consultation at JEA Dental Clinic. Since the medical team was from Seoul National University and specialized in oral and maxillofacial surgery, they did not just explain it as a surgery to become prettier; they carefully explained why that kind of impression was showing up, and that gave me trust. What I am most satisfied with after surgery is the overall balance of my face. It was not just the jaw that changed; the connection between the midface and the lower face became natural, and my expression became much softer. Before, I used to take many selfies and still barely get one decent shot, but now even if I take a quick photo with the default camera, there are so many more that I like. It does not feel like I became a completely different person in a dramatic way; it feels more like the parts that were disappointing in my original face were simply cleaned up, which is why I am even more satisfied. For anyone considering double jaw surgery, I recommend not looking only at beauty and making sure to consult carefully about function too. I still think I made the right choice by doing it at JEA Dental Clinic.
