Laminate veneer review

I had 10 total, 6 on the upper teeth and 4 on the lower teeth. Originally, I spent longer thinking about orthodontic treatment than about laminate veneers. My lower front teeth were crooked, and I kept being bothered by them; I felt like the alignment of my teeth was what people noticed first in photos or when I smiled. The final candidates were about two places, and I went through with it at Orb Dental Hospital. What mattered most in my decision was that there was a dental lab inside the hospital. Because a laminate veneer can feel completely different with even a slight difference in color or shape, it was reassuring to have a structure where they could coordinate directly with the lab. Also, being able to actually see the Objeo product, touch the material, and check the color tone affected my choice. Seeing it in person made it much easier to judge than just hearing an explanation. Even during the process, color was what I looked at the most. I wanted it to blend naturally with the adjacent teeth while still looking clearly brighter when I smiled. Doing 8 upper and 8 lower teeth might have created more uniformity, but I was worried about tooth reduction and preservation, so I decided on 6 upper and 4 lower. When matching the color, the director, the dental hygienist, the head of the consultation room, and the technician all checked together, and they reviewed the look I wanted several times. I tend to keep pointing things out if even a little looks awkward to me, so I had a lot of requests, but I liked that they coordinated quickly each time. Right before bonding, the director looked at one front tooth again and said it would be better to remake it and attach a new one. I could not tell to that extent, but that actually left an impression on me because it felt like the hospital was being even more meticulous. I am satisfied with the result. Because my teeth are brighter, my smile looks much more radiant, and I no longer worry about my teeth first when taking photos. People around me usually do not notice that I had laminate veneers unless I tell them, and just say that my impression looks brighter. That is exactly the kind of change I wanted, rather than something too obvious, so I am satisfied. For anyone deciding between orthodontics and laminate veneers, I think you need to look at your tooth condition, gum condition, desired time frame, and the degree of change you want.
