Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

I trusted it even more because it was known as a go-to place for jaw surgery!! Facial contouring review >^<

Hello!! It has been 1 month since I had three-part facial contouring surgery from Dr. Shin Hee-jin at Lee Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! Compared with the beginning, so many parts have already returned to daily life, and although I am still in recovery, I can already see changes in my face shape, so I keep feeling amazed every time I look in the mirror:) If you are considering contouring surgery, you probably wonder about the uncomfortable parts. Speaking as someone at the 1-month mark, the things that are still a bit uncomfortable are that I still cannot sleep comfortably on my side, and my mouth does not open all the way when I eat, so hard food is still difficult. Still, I can gradually eat regular soft meals more comfortably, and I can really feel myself recovering, so I get more excited day by day! I still have some limits when brushing my teeth, so I am trying to stay cleaner by using a water flosser! The big swelling has gone down a lot. It is not dropping dramatically like it did in weeks 1 to 3, but as the overall face shape settles, I think the characteristic soft and smooth line that is a benefit of contouring surgery is starting to show little by little, so I am even more excited for what is ahead:) In the morning I am a little more swollen, and by evening it goes down a lot, and I keep repeating that routine. As the swelling goes down, the jawline and facial proportions feel like they are settling more naturally. Even in photos, I can feel that my facial line looks more refined than before, and I am excited to try different hairstyles soon ♡ There is still swelling around the jaw, so when I touch it, it feels soft, but that actually makes me even more curious about what the final line will look like, since there is still swelling left to go! The swelling inside my mouth has also improved a lot compared with the beginning, and while my facial expressions are still a little awkward when they get big, I am much more natural when smiling or talking. People around me also said the overall mood of my face seems softer, which was amazing to hear:) Before surgery I was very worried about the recovery period after contouring surgery, but now that I have actually gone through it, I can see myself getting better day by day more clearly than I expected, so recovery itself feels kind of interesting, and I am even more excited to see my appearance once the remaining swelling is gone! Thank you to Dr. Shin for the safe surgery~!! haha
