Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

One month after double jaw surgery at Yangyundol!

I always had trouble because I couldn’t break food apart when eating. The discomfort from that, and the fact that I kept losing confidence, led me to decide on surgery. I looked through various plastic surgery apps and the internet and went around for consultations. Then, finally, I had a consultation at Yangyundol, and the coordinator listened to me well, and the doctor explained in detail the point that needed to be solved in my case. So I thought, okay, this is it, kept in contact with the coordinator, set the surgery date, and had the operation. On the first day after surgery, breathing itself wasn’t that hard for me. What was hard was that while waking up from anesthesia, the dizziness and nausea lasted a long time, and that part was difficult. Other than that, the nurse took care of me, so I was comfortable. The second day after surgery felt about the same. Nothing especially different. The one thing I noticed was that soy milk suited my taste the best, at least somewhat. Finally discharged! At discharge, everyone took such good care of me, which was nice. Once I got home, it actually felt more comfortable, and I was basically just sleeping, taking medicine, eating, and repeating that every day. By the time the one-week checkup came, I still couldn’t eat much, so I still had nausea and dizziness. Seeing the hospital staff try to give me extra soy milk made me think, I’m really glad I had the surgery here.. From the second week on, I felt human again! No more dizziness or nausea, I ate well, and even getting the stitches removed hurt a little, but hmm? It was bearable! More than anything, eating well seems really important! During weeks 3 to 4, as my body kept recovering, all I could think was that I wanted the one-month mark to come quickly I kept managing the swelling and taking the prescribed medicine well! From the one-month mark onward, well my range of foods increased a lot, and when people around me said they really couldn’t recognize me and that I looked prettier, my confidence went up. The hospital also praised me, so I was embarrassed but very, very satisfied. I can see the swelling going down day by day, so I keep chanting to myself, go down faster, go down faster. I’m excited that I can now bite through all sorts of things with my teeth, and I’m happy that I won’t have to walk around with my head down trying to hide my jaw!
