Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

I’m in the middle of orthodontic treatment for a receding chin and protruding mouth!!!

I’ve always lived looking only at my face from the front, so I didn’t really notice, but then I accidentally saw my side profile in a photo, and because of my receding chin and protruding mouth, my side view looked so, so bad So I looked into orthodontic treatment and went for consultations, and I heard that in most cases, correcting a protruding mouth works much better if teeth are extracted. I thought my protrusion was severe, but at the dental clinic I consulted, they said it wasn’t actually that severe, so I probably wouldn’t need extractions, though they said they could do it if I wanted. But extracting 4 teeth that I’ll use for the rest of my life carries a big risk... and my biggest concern was my receding chin, so I thought getting a chin filler would be better, and I went ahead without extractions! And I really think that was the right choice. If you’re considering extraction orthodontics because of a receding chin and protruding mouth, look at how severe it really is, and if it’s not that severe like me, please also consider chin filler, which is safer and carries less risk than extractions!!
