Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Three-month review after cheekbone surgery at [Clinic A]: My facial line became slimmer as the swelling went down!

Hello :) It has already been three months since I had cheekbone surgery at [Clinic A]! About two years ago, I had double-jaw surgery there and was very satisfied with the result. I remember feeling reassured because an oral and maxillofacial surgery specialist and an anesthesiology specialist are always on staff, and the safety system is well established. Above all, because I had already had a satisfying surgical experience there, I decided to have this cheekbone surgery with Dr. Shin Hee-jin at [Clinic A]. In fact, when I had double-jaw surgery, I deliberated over whether to have cheekbone surgery at the same time, but chose not to. As time passed, however, my cheekbones gradually caught my attention and began to bother me T_T. I wanted to create a smoother, softer facial line overall, so I eventually decided to have the cheekbone surgery too. Early after surgery, the swelling was greater than I expected. Especially under my eyes and around my philtrum, there was a lot of swelling, and there was also blood pooled in part of my eye, so I was worried. From the second week, the swelling under my jaw decreased a lot, and I began to see the bruising gradually fade. By the third week, much of the cheek swelling had gone down, but the swelling under my left eye was particularly slow to subside, which worried me a little. At one month, the swelling under my left eye repeatedly seemed to go down and then rise slightly again T_T. Even so, when I looked from the side, I could see that my cheekbones had receded and my facial line had become softer, so I really liked the line itself! By two months, some minor swelling still seemed to remain, but overall I felt much more comfortable. There was still a slight tight, achy feeling around my cheekbones, but my facial line definitely felt more refined. People around me also said I looked younger, which made me feel good for no particular reason haha. And now, three months! As more swelling has gone down, my face seems even slimmer. I have lost a little weight too, but people around me often tell me that my face looks slimmer haha. In particular, as the cheekbone area that bothered me most before surgery has been refined, my facial line looks much softer from both the front and side, so I am very satisfied :) I was very worried at first because of the swelling, but seeing it gradually subside over time makes me think waiting was the right choice. It has only been three months, so I am also looking forward to seeing how the line settles as the remaining swelling continues to decrease!
