Hello! It's already been two months since my rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage at Shinsa D-Day, so I'm here to share my progress review!! Time really flew after I posted my 1-month review haha.
First, the residual swelling that was left at the 1-month mark has gone down even more as I entered the 2-month stage!! Once the fine swelling around the glabella and the alar area settled, the line designed by the director looks so much slimmer and clearer.
Before surgery, my biggest concern was that my nose tip was blunt and my bridge was wide, so my overall impression looked dull... But now, when viewed from the front, the bridge line is clearly slimmer than before haha.
Even after the splint came off, the tip was still a little swollen, but as time passes it seems to be settling into a more refined and elevated shape, so I'm relieved
During consultation, I showed them photos of Shin Se-kyung, and said I wanted a refined straight line that wasn't too much. I wanted a silhouette that felt natural and sophisticated, without an artificial look!
The pain at the autologous costal cartilage donor site that I was worried about is now completely absent to the point that I don't even notice it in daily life!!
Director Choo Seong-cheol said he would use the perichondrium of the autologous costal cartilage on the nose tip too, so he could carefully address any visible signs, and maybe because of that, the line has stayed smooth without showing through or sagging!
Since it's definitely a one-doctor clinic, the director personally checked my progress carefully all the way through, which made me feel much more at ease haha.
I hope this review helps at least a little for people like me who are worried about a wide bridge or bulbous nose!
