Nose Surgery Reviews

Real review one month after a third revision! I met a master

Hi, everyone! I’m here to write a review now that it’s already been a little over a month since my third rhinoplasty revision. First of all, I really struggled mentally because of my nose... T_T Please refer to my previous post! If you’ve had surgery multiple times and even dealt with inflammation and removal, you’ll know how terrifying it is just to get back on the operating table... On top of that, every time I went around looking for clinics, they kept saying my scar tissue was a mess and my skin condition was bad, so all I kept hearing was that this was an “extremely difficult revision case.” I really wondered if I should just give up on surgery, and I felt so depressed.

Then I went to consult with Dr. Kim Beom-jun, and wow... I could really feel from the consultation alone that his skill was incredible. It wasn’t just the usual “I’ll make everything pretty~” kind of talk. He thoroughly analyzed from the start why my nose had ended up like this, focusing on the anatomical structure of my nose. He even drew diagrams himself and explained things in an easy-to-understand way, and for the first time I felt like I was getting an objective and accurate grasp of my nose’s condition. He was honest and direct about which parts should not be pushed too far in my current state and which parts could definitely be improved, so instead I trusted him completely and decided to go ahead with surgery right away!

Because this was a third revision, I prepared myself for swelling and bruising to last a really long time, but I was surprised that I recovered much more steadily than I expected after surgery. Maybe his hands really are that delicate, because daily life wasn’t that hard at all? I went right back to work a week later.

Now it’s been a month, and as the swelling goes down, it’s settling into a more natural shape. The line has also been adjusted to a proportion that harmonizes with my whole face without looking excessive! Especially the columella area, which stressed me out the most, improved so naturally that the difference feels huge T_T The bridge and tip no longer feel like they’re going in different directions, the balance is perfect... Honestly, all my friends looked at my nose and gave a standing ovation, saying, “How did it change so much from that condition?” lol. I really 인정 Dr. Kim is a true master..

And one more point that really touched me... I’m someone who easily develops scar tissue, so every day before was just a chain of anxiety. But every time I went in for a checkup, he examined everything so carefully, and when needed, he gave me scar-tissue injections at the right time.

More than anything, Dr. Kim kept reassuring me, saying, “If you feel even a little anxious or think something seems off, just come in anytime for a checkup,” and I seriously almost teared up there T_T In my previous surgeries, it always felt like they were done with me once the operation ended, but this sense of being cared for all the way through... It felt like he managed my mental state during recovery too. I’m still so grateful that he watched over the whole process from start to finish; the stability and consideration I felt during recovery still stay with me. Dr. Kim is so warm..

Before, whenever I took photos, my nose looked so bizarre that I would just delete them all, but these days I spend all day looking in the mirror and taking selfies, to the point that my phone gallery is about to run out of space lololol

Dr. Kim Beom-jun is literally the creator of my nose T_T Dr. Kim, please live a long and healthy life forever, and may you gain wealth with every inhale and health with every exhale...!! If there are people here struggling mentally because of rhinoplasty revision, please at least go in for a consultation! I hope everyone finds their own bright path like I did!!
