Nose Surgery Reviews

Nose surgery completely solved my complex!

Hello! It has already been almost 5 months since my surgery, so I'm back with my third update ^^ I had contouring procedures x2 (square jaw, chin), nose surgery (silicone, cartilage), and double chin liposuction with muscle binding! Today I want to talk about swelling, redness after surgery, and how people around me have reacted recently~

1️⃣ Swelling and redness after surgery Right after surgery, once I woke up from anesthesia, the swelling actually wasn't too bad. Then, starting from the early hours that same night, I began to feel a throbbing, stinging pain, and I could feel my lower face, including my lower lip, swelling. But I had already read many recovery reviews, so I knew this swelling was only the beginning!! Around 3 to 4 days after discharge, I felt the same stinging, throbbing sensation and could feel a bit more swelling. Later, my face got so puffy that even closing my mouth felt awkward, but each time that happened I made sure to do cold compresses and wear the compression bandage carefully, and I went for 30-minute walks in the morning, at noon, and in the evening! Reading many recovery accounts beforehand and learning about swelling and how to care for it really helped calm my anxiety! After surgery, you will probably worry a lot too TT You may wonder whether something went wrong or whether it is really okay to be this swollen, and I hope my post can serve as a little source of reassurance :) After removing the splint and tape, the incision under my nose and the area where I had double chin liposuction were still red. I think the redness continued for about two months after surgery. When I went in for a follow-up, the doctor told me that this was the peak of the redness and that it would gradually fade, so I waited, and now it has almost completely disappeared ^^ You can only see the white scar if you look closely! I did buy an ointment from the pharmacy that was supposed to help with redness, but I think I only applied it about three times or so. Even though I was not that diligent with it, I think this result is not bad at all ^^ Since contouring involves incisions inside the mouth, swelling management seems more important than redness. Right now the major swelling has almost completely gone down, and only a very mild candy-like swelling remains! The mild remaining swelling and scar are things I need to give plenty of time anyway, so I am trying not to worry too much~ In reality, they do not bother me much either ^^

2️⃣ Recent reactions from people around me People around me have been saying my nose is beautiful a lot. I originally had a low, short nose, but as the tip became longer and the height increased, even to my own eyes my face feels much more three-dimensional~ And the contouring and liposuction seem to have helped define my jawline a lot too~ People I had not seen in a while tilted their heads and said my face somehow looked prettier, but I just say I lost weight and keep it a secret haha My recovery post may not be especially unique, but I wrote it hoping it can serve as one more ordinary reference point for those who are thinking about surgery! Since recovery and results can differ from person to person, I hope you will consult carefully and proceed with surgery cautiously!! Please also take good care of your immune health before and after surgery!! That is all for now💕 Everyone, become prettier!
