2-week review of bulbous nose surgery

My nose looking too wide had been a long-time complex, and I also had rhinitis, so breathing was uncomfortable. I thought about functional nose surgery for a long time, and this time I had septal deviation correction, bulbous nose correction, silicone bridge augmentation, and autologous costal cartilage nose-tip surgery all together.After deciding on functional rhinoplasty, I looked up hospitals carefully, and I saw review cases from another hospital where noses had become contracted and the shape had been ruined after surgery, but after surgery at [Clinic A] they improved a lot, and that made me lean toward it. Even though it was my first surgery, I worried about the cost because they used almost all autologous cartilage, but I heard that a surgeon's skill is important for the nose and that once it goes wrong it is hard to reverse, so I trusted [Clinic A] and went ahead.I'm still recovering, so it's too early to talk about the final result, but so far I am generally satisfied. First of all, Director Kim Hyun-joo's aesthetic sense matched mine well, and during the consultation I felt that she was not just pushing for a higher nose but was considering the shape I wanted in a way that suited my face. The surgery result is still only at the 2-week mark, so the swelling has not gone down completely and I cannot say precisely, but the tip does not seem pointy. Other reviews also said the tip is not sharp and has a round, natural feel, which I liked.Honestly, there is still swelling left, so depending on the angle the nose seemed slightly crooked, which worried me. But when I went to the hospital and had it checked, they explained that at this stage it can look that way because of swelling, so I felt much more reassured. For now, I plan to focus on recovery without rushing and keep watching the progress.And the aftercare at the hospital is quite thorough, so whenever questions came up during recovery I could get counseling right away, and each time I visited, I was also satisfied that they provided swelling-care services and that the director personally checked my progress and answered my questions.
