Right now the tip has become more defined and the side profile feels much cleaner, so I worry less when I look in the mirror. Breathing has also definitely become easier, so I wake up less at night from a blocked nose. I found GNG Hospital while looking for an ENT clinic because of rhinitis. It was near Bongeunsa Station, so it was convenient to go back and forth, and I went thinking I’d just get a consultation first. They showed me the inside of my nose with an endoscope and explained the deviated septum and the hump together. The professionalism stood out throughout the consultation, and I felt certain that if I got functional cosmetic nasal surgery, it would turn out well. They planned to raise the bridge just a little with a custom implant and lift the tip with septal cartilage so it would not look too pointed. They also said we could do the rhinitis surgery and deviated septum correction at the same time, so it seemed less troublesome. Now the hump has been smoothed out softly too, so the nose line looks neat like a man’s nose. The tip no longer feels as dropped, so in photos the side profile bothers me less. The biggest difference is how much easier it is to breathe, and even when I’m out without a mask, I worry less about the shape of my nose.
