Inside the nose, the septum was refined, and the tip was done with donor rib cartilage and ear cartilage. After surgery, I had a splint and tape on my nose, and for the first few days the swelling made my face look puffy. The bruising moved down under my eyes a bit, and after about a week it had almost all gone away. As time passed, the tip gradually started to look more natural. When I touch it, it does not feel hard, but more like my own flesh. Overall, I think I made the right choice. The bruising and swelling period was a bit long, but looking back, it was worth the wait.
